So, what's the deal?

| Is the seller really going to sell the home at a ridiculously low price? Each seller has their own motivation to sell. You can bet that if someone is using the Sell It Sunday Speed Sale® System, they are committed to selling their home. Make sure your expectations are realistic however. Not many sellers can take $0.50 on the $1.00 for their home. It does happen but not very often. More than likely another bidder isn't going to let someone walk away with that great of a deal. Free market capitalism reigns. If you could buy a dollar for $0.95 is it still a good deal? You bet it is. You just need to decide what you feel the dollar is worth and bid to that point. | How do I know the seller isn't putting in false bids to inflate the price of the home? While there is no way to know for sure, take time at the inspection to meet the seller. Make sure you are comfortable. Note the bids already posted. The bidding is done in an open fashion so you can see the bids and bidders that are out there. Keep in mind, the seller is using this technique because they want to sell the home. If they put in fake bids and are the high bidder, the home won't sell and they will have to do the entire process all over again.
